Lauren believes in creating unforgettable moments through travel — whether that be through a multi-generational trip to a family’s homeland, interactions with an unfamiliar culture, or simply a newfound love of pistachio gelato. In other words, there is nothing like the feeling of being “homesick” for a place where the language and customs are not yours, but your heart yearns to return all the same.
Lauren’s love of travel began at a young age, during trips with her family. She later spent time living and working as an au pair in Milan before graduating from Saint Anselm College with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She immediately launched a career in journalism, reporting and anchoring the news for nearly five years in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio.
During that time, Lauren continued to explore new countries. She kicked off her marriage to her best friend and travel partner, Ethan, with a honeymoon in Kenya before deciding to turn her first love— travel— into her life’s work. After all, her favorite stories typically begin at the airport!
