Shawna Huffman Owen
Shawna has been a passionate traveler since spending the first few years of her life in Istanbul, Turkey. After receiving her BA from Colby College in Art History and French, and her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Shawna spent 15 years as a management consultant. In 2008, Shawna decided to shift gears and focus on travel as a profession.
Shawna holds a seat on the elite Travel Advisory Board for Travel + Leisure Magazine as well as on the Advisory Board for Abercrombie & Kent.
Shawna’s specialties lie in upscale vacation planning for families. As a mother of two growing children, Shawna recognizes how precious vacation time is and strives to offer travel-consulting services to ensure every detail is taken care of for her clients.
In addition to planning vacations for families, Shawna also specializes in planning romantic getaways for couples, special holidays for multi-generational groups, and celebration holidays around the globe.
Shawna, her husband Jay and their 2 children live in Chicago. Shawna is an active member of The Joffrey Women’s Board, the Guild of the Chicago Botanic Garden, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
