7 Reasons to Fall in Love with Ireland

I have visited Ireland twice in the past three years and still can’t wait to go back. I couldn’t name only one reason for you to go, so I settled on seven!

1. The people
The Irish people are so warm and inviting. It’s a privilege to be invited to discover their culture, music, and traditions.

2. The rich history
There are thousands of years of history to explore in Ireland. Seeing the Book of Kells on display at Trinity College is just the beginning.

3. The breathtaking countryside
The Cliffs of Moher, Clonmacnoise, Beara Peninsula, and Ring of Kerry are some of the most dramatic landscapes I have ever seen. And how about the vibrant and colorful town of Galway?!

4. Endless adventure
Ireland offers year-round endless adventure: fishing, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, falconry, and clay pigeon shooting are but a few of my favorite activities.

5. Unique lodging
Few countries this size offer such a vast array of accommodation, including grand hotels and resorts, castles, country estates cottages, and luxury trains.

6. Golf is everywhere!
If you are a golfer, Ireland is a must. There are hundreds of stunning courses on the island and many are considered the best in the world.
