As you know already, we travel the world, constantly. We also cruise the world! Our advisors have crossed the Arctic Circle, swam by the Equator, and docked in Santorini. Below are some of our team members’ favorite cruise memories.
Sleeping under the stars in Balinese beds, in the Caribbean, and dining outdoors every night.
Lisa, Caribbean
On a cruise, while visiting Santorini, Greece, I discovered a jewel of a hidden restaurant for a perfect seaside lunch. Katina, is located just below Oia Town, run by a family, and all the fish is fresh and cooked over charcoal right at the sea's edge. It always filled with local people.
Tony, Greece
Our ice-breaker class ship stopped in the middle of pack ice, where we spotted a pair of polar bears mating on the ice and were able to watch the full ritual (the chase) for almost two hours as they walked toward us – right up to the front of the bow of the ship.
Gabrielle, Svalbard
There is nothing more inspirational than sailing out of Istanbul with the sails up and a triumphant symphony playing as we take our last look at the dramatic skyline of mosques, churches, and palaces.
Diane, Greece and Turkey
Snorkeling off our ship in the Galapagos and finding playful sea lions and penguins swirling around me. I was able to keep up with the penguins’ exploration for about two minutes before they stormed away.
Geoffrey, Galapagos Islands
Watching humpback whales from the deck of our ship breach 30 feet away, in Alaska. We were so close we could feel the spray. That’s a memory my kids won’t forget!
André, Alaska
A signature champagne and caviar service served on a surfboard by crew members dressed in Tuxedos while in the ocean close to the beach. There is nothing like it! If you love to cruise, don’t miss out on the yachting life. You will come back for more…
Jeff, Caribbean
Waking to a view from our veranda of the beautiful scenery at the port of Kotor, Montenegro. Then, the opportunity to visit the World Heritage site of the Old Walled Town of Kotor.
Linda, Montenegro
Sunset views on a beach enjoying champagne while floating in the ocean.
Stephanie, St Vincent and the Grenadines
Waking up in the morning and ordering coffee to enjoy on the balcony, in the fresh ocean air, before heading to the dining room for the full breakfast spread. At that moment, despite being onboard a large cruise ship, you feel like you’re there alone, and the sea is floating only you.
Andy, Mexican Riviera
Getting room service in our pajamas, looking at the beautiful blue water in the Cyclades.
Ann, Greece
