As you approach the all-inclusive private island resort by speedboat—just 10 minutes from the international airport and FBO—it's the fortress-like stone structure of the main house that you first see rising from the top of the island's verdant slopes. It's a peaceful, healing place where you can reconnect with nature and where making an impact on the local community has a ripple effect for all involved.
Once you arrive at the grounds of your new home-away-from-home, you'll be transported in an electric Moke from the shore up a steep road through the lush wilderness. You'll pass through the gates of the enclave containing the stone house you see on approach, surrounded by additional villas and residences, all connected by winding paths.
This oasis is a restorative retreat for up to 30 guests.
It's the perfect place for groups, families, and individuals alike. The five residences are deliberately open to the breezes, bringing nature into the rooms. This means you can get your family together while still having some privacy—and lots of activities to choose from!
Between the beach games and art classes, vision boarding and knot tying, pony feeding, and gardening lessons, you'll have plenty of chances to get out there and experience all this island offers.
Swings instead of seats and an in-house recording studio add a playful whimsy to these buildings, which are also positioned in a cluster to protect the countryside from development and remain heavily forested.
The resort is designed with nature in mind, from elements of its interior design to how it encourages guests to operate at their best. For example, there's a therapeutic animal ranch on site—where the animals aren't just cute! Every animal has been rescued from slaughterhouses or hunting ranches around the world. It's called Redemption Farm and houses zebras once destined for a ranch in Texas, ponies earmarked for a Mexican slaughterhouse, and even more animals with their own rescue stories.
The animals at Redemption Ranch are now a cherished part of the island experience that not only receive their own healing but can also become part of a healing journey during your stay.
