Traveling with Grandkids

by Marty Higgins, World Traveler and Grandmother of Seven

Want to have the time of your life? I recommend going away with your 5-year-old grandchild one-on-one. No parents, no siblings, no friends allowed. It is a memorable, educational, creative, and “tons-of-fun” trip. I speak from experience, having done it six times with six grandchildren! I’ve taken them to Paris, London, New York City, Northern and Southern California, Sea Island Georgia, and Blackberry Farm in Tennessee. Each trip has been unique and customized for each child, with a theme of grandmother and grandchild conversing and experiencing new things together. It adds up to quality time for both, memories that will last forever.
