Read on about Angela, Sandi, and Shawna’s all-time favorite hotels and resorts, and why they love them.

ANGELA SCHOENHARD

Montage Palmetto Bluff - Always a crowd-pleaser for couples and families alike! The hotel boasts a mix of Inn rooms, Cottages, and Villas, so there is something for everyone! The location, just outside of Savannah, GA, proximity to the ocean, beautiful setting, and Southern Hospitality make this fabulous hotel one of my all-time  favorites.

The Beverly Hills Hotel - My preferred hotel in Los Angeles! The “Pink Palace” is the quintessential La La Land experience. Your stay is not complete without dinner and people watching at the iconic Polo Lounge. An afternoon in a Pool Cabana is also a must; arguably the best pool scene in all of LA. The Beverly Hills Hotel is full of Hollywood history and it’s great fun to soak it all in during your stays in the famous Bungalows!

Borgo Egnazia - A dreamland village in Puglia turned ultra-luxurious resort, Borgo Egnazia is the perfect place to unwind and spend several days enjoying the countryside, along with time by the sea. I love the contemporary earthy tone décor and Zen vibe at the resort. My favorite accommodation is Villa Magnifica – your very own private Apulian villa. Truly one of a kind in Italy.casual sophistication.

SANDI TODOROVICH

Jumby Bay Island - Although I’m more of an adventure person who loves mountain vistas, this Caribbean hotel sinks into my soul every time I am there. An all-inclusive luxury resort located on its own private island in Antigua, Jumby Bay continuously knocks it out of the park with chic room accommodations, out of this world estate homes, beautiful white sand beaches, exquisite food and wine, and some of the best service in the Caribbean. The team at “Jumby” is truly special and it happens to be one of those places that my clients (and me) like to continue to return to time and again. One of my favorite experiences is to swim in the crystal-clear water with giant red starfish covering the ocean floor – what a beautiful sight!

ORIGINS Lodge - Located in the northern part of Costa Rica, this boutique, 6-room resort is set up high on a mountainside with stunning panoramic views overlooking the valley below. A true luxury experience awaits you here as you surrender to the tranquil atmosphere and spend some time taking it all in. The resort encompasses over 100 acres of land that you are free to roam – you can even hike to the waterfall on property and then horseback ride home. The grounds are impeccable and surreal, it feels as if you are in a fairy tale anywhere you walk – even the roofs are covered with flowers. The rooms are very private and come with a king canopy bed inside that walks out to your private terrace elevated above the trees, complete with a wood-fire heated terrace bath.  And don’t forget the gastronomy here – this Michelin-starred chef is elevating the food in Costa Rica with his creative dishes overflowing with flavor and beautiful colors.

Four Seasons San Domenico Palace - Four Seasons recently took over a 14th-century Dominican convent in Taormina, Sicily. Perched on a rocky promontory above the Ionian Sea with panoramic views of Mount Etna and the town of Taormina, the “palace” has been tastefully renovated to showcase the unique character and charm of the building while making it incredibly luxurious and comfortable. Beautiful gardens adorn the property and the common areas are exquisitely designed – from the infinity pool terrace with beautiful vistas to the intimate outside garden lounge area surrounding the Grand Cloisters. Truly a memorable experience and one I’d love to return to – I already miss waking up to my private plunge pool and enjoying a nightcap in the Grand Cloister open-air garden lounge, lit by soft candlelight and music.

SHAWNA HUFFMAN OWEN

Ballyfin - Few places that are as special as Ballyfin. Surrounded by the incredible Irish countryside and their own gorgeous gardens, Ballyfin is a true oasis. The moment you walk through its doors, you feel like you are ‘at home’. It's luxurious yet cozy. Its sophisticated yet approachable. It is part of the esteemed Relais & Chateaux family, presenting incredible culinary experiences. Whether you go with your loved one or with a group of friends, you will leave wanting more.

La Bastide de Marie - I love Provence! Bastide de Marie is the epitome of a true Provençal farmhouse and as such, is one of my favorite places to stay with family. Located in the heart of the Luberon, its setting couldn’t be more ideal. The property is set amongst its vineyards. With just a couple suites large enough for families and one amazing villa, it’s intimate and a bit quirky, yet so perfect.

Four Seasons Resort Lana’i - Lana’i holds a special place in my heart as it was the first vacation I took with my husband, Jay. While the hotel was not a Four Seasons then, I was struck by the beauty of the tiny island of Lanai and the diversity of the landscapes. This rocky island offers an incredibly diverse menu of experiences: swim, snorkel, dive, horseback riding, obstacle course, zip lines, sporting clays, 4x4 jeep tours… the list goes on. Now, with the newly opened Sensei, Lanai also boasts what I think is the most luxurious wellness resort in the USA!
