Shawna’s passion for global education and immersive luxury travel began in childhood, when she learned Turkish alongside English while growing up in Istanbul. Her love for cultural exploration led her to earn a BA in Art History and French from Colby College, including a semester in Florence, followed by an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She then spent 15 years as a management consultant before turning her lifelong love of bespoke travel into a profession in 2008.

Today, Shawna is a recognized leader in luxury travel advisory, holding advisory board seats with Travel + Leisure magazine, Abercrombie & Kent, AMAN, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and The Marriott Luxury Group.

Specializing in bespoke multi-generational family travel, Shawna ensures every journey is seamless, enriching, and deeply personal. Shawna, her husband Jay, and their two children split their time between Florida and Chicago, where she is actively engaged in civic and professional organizations.

Completing the Cotswolds Way (100 mile walk from Chipping Campden to the steps of Bath Abbey). Cruising the Mekong Delta on the Aqua Mekong. Barge trip through Burgundy. Dogsledding in Lapland.
