While restrictions continue to shift by the minute, we sometimes have no choice but to plan with short notice. During the last two years, our role as advisors has shifted to accommodate that reality. We know that we are now even more adept at leveraging our relationships with global partners and advocating for clients, and that is what makes a flawless trip possible despite short lead times.   

Of course, we will always love Santorini, Anguilla, Capri, etc. But there are far more places we want you to discover before they change too much. Islands that have been kept secrets for years, only frequented by locals and adventurous travelers. From France to the Caribbean, and from the South Pacific to the Arctic Circle, discover unbelievably real destinations, waiting for you.

Fall is here, and for many of us, that means traveling is on the agenda. The last thing we want is to get sick, but, unfortunately, the chilly season combined with busy schedules puts us at a higher risk. Here are some of my favorite tips for healthy travel.

As travel options open again, you should be prepared to take advantage of opportunities to travel abroad. It pays to check all your documents as soon as possible and secure renewed passports, if necessary. Passports need to be valid 6 months after your trip for most destinations, but be sure to check the specific rules for countries you intend to visit.  

Over the past few weeks, we have started receiving a high number of travel requests, and it seems to be continuing (thank you!). We are confident this is just the beginning. Once vaccines become more available, everyone will start making summer plans. By that time it may be too late.

Now that Covid-19 has reshaped our world, responsible travel takes on a new meaning. We believe quite strongly that those who are ready to travel can – and should. While luxury real estate executive Julie Harron prepared to celebrate her expansion to Palm Beach in early March with over 200 guests, the reality of COVID-19 postponed the JH Real Estate Group launch at Hindman Palm Beach, co-sponsored by her friend Jay Krehbiel. The ultra-elegant Harron, who grew up as an avid participant in the Palm Beach and Jupiter social circles, knew it didn’t change her commitment to offering Palm Beach to her clientele. In fact, Harron became a pandemic prognosticator, knowing that Palm Beach would be the place where discerning people would love to shelter, and bring family together.

While we may feel more limited than ever in our activity, that doesn’t mean we can’t dream.

During this period of social distancing, we wanted to share some inspiration for keeping busy, entertained, and healthy.
