Lauren believes in the transformative power of travel, whether that be through a multi-generational trip to a family’s homeland, interactions with an unfamiliar culture, or simply a newfound love of pistachio gelato. In her mind, there is nothing like the feeling of being “homesick” for a place where the language and customs are not yours, but your heart yearns to return all the same.

Lauren’s love of travel began at a young age. She spent time living and working as an au pair in Milan before graduating from Saint Anselm College with Honors distinction in 2014. She immediately launched a career in journalism, reporting and anchoring the news for nearly five years before turning her first love – travel – into her life’s work.
